The sexual health clinics run by Berkshire East Primary Care Trust are called The Garden Clinic. You can visit the Garden Clinic for information, advice or both about sexual health issues including:

• tests to find out if you have a sexually transmitted infection
• contraception - including emergency contraception
• HIV testing
• Hepatitis B vaccination
• pre-pregnancy advice and pregnancy testing
• termination of pregnancy counseling
• anxiety about having sex

Staff in the clinic can offer advice and information on all methods of contraception, emergency contraception, sexually transmitted infections including HIV, and counselling and referral around unwanted pregnancy.

The Garden Clinic – Slough can offer the full range of contraceptive methods, screening and treatment of sexually transmitted infections including HIV/AIDS.
We have separate clinics for IUD/IUS and Implant fitting and removal as well as specialist referral clinics for which appointments are required.

Contraception (including Emergency Contraception) is available from St Mark’s Hospital, Maidenhead at the time below. Outside these hours please contact your own GP (doctor) or The Garden Clinic, Upton Hospital (0175 363 5302).

 

The staff in the clinic can offer advice and information on all methods of contraception, emergency contraception, sexually transmitted infections including HIV, and counselling and referral around unwanted pregnancy

 

Emergency contraception (also known as the Morning After Pill) is available at the Slough NHS Walk-in Centre which is based at Upton Hospital, Albert Street, Slough (0175 363 5505), from GPs and for sale from some pharmacists.
