Current Project - Berkshire LGBT on Bikes

Please join this group if you are intersted in Mountain biking at a location within Berkshire. This will be part of a local authority supported project in conjunction with Gay Berkshire.  You can join the group by sending an email to gayberkshire@hotmail.co.uk or alternatively by joing the group named Gay Berkshire on www.facebook.com

Planned events:

First up is MTB on Sunday 26th July 2009 - An instructor led ride through Crowthorne Woods (1-2 hours) if you require a bike to use let me know, there are 6 available for our use, if you're happy with your bike then that's fine to.

The Second date is BMX on Monday 27th July 2009 - BMX Coaching - an hours free tuition for up to 15 adults at the BMX track, 18:00 pm, Waterloo Meadows, Reading YOU DO NOT NEED A BMX OR BMX EXPERIENCE FOR THIS GROUP, BMX'S WORTH £400 ARE PROVIDED FREE FOR OUR USE.

These planned events are free, you will also get free part membership to the CTC (Cycle tour club) which gives you insurance whilst on the rides and a free newsletter.

Please get back to me and let me know if you'll be attending either or both so I can confirm numbers with the organiser.

Just so you know, there will be more planned events throughout the year and this will be a great group if you're bike crazy like me!

Now, finally - we've been asked to think of a catchier name than Berkshire LGBT on bikes so any suggestions please and we'll make sure there's a prize in it. The CTC will be paying for our group to become an official club with it's own affiliated name, and don't come back with "Dykes on bikes" as this is an all inclusive LGBT and also we want it a bit more original than that.

This is a great group so lets get it off the ground and get a brilliant club out of it.
