Gay Berkshire's Aims

• run and promote campaigns for the LGBT community
• provide or assist in training to local organisations
• provide support to local LGBT groups
• provide a voice and setting for the LGBT community to hold local authorities and statutory bodies accountable for responding to homophobic incidences
• contribute to public safety by encouraging victims of Homophobic incidents to report them and helping to provide and promote anonymous reporting systems
• provide support and help promote groups that work with LGBT young people
• to challenge perceptions of the LGBT community
• to work towards community cohesion by being involved in local events
